Does Scotland matter here? Not in a philosophical sense, because of course Scotland matters, but in terms of election. Scottish labour...is currently a non-entity. And, you know...as far as I know Scottish labour are anti-devolution (could be wrong). Lib Dems aren't gaining seats there. Cons projected to lose some of their gains last time round. Everything I can see is SNP gains after a poor showing last time. The cons aren't offering a 2nd ref, so Corbyn has nothing to gain by promising one quickly. The only things he risk losing is English voters and all-round unionists.
