Idk why these in particular have captured everyone's imagination, but I do like how the outsole looks like it's made of toothpaste or jawbreakers or summat.
They look cracking Uncle. Grats on securing a pair!
@Brooks I think they've caught peoples attention because they play into being environmentally friendly and recycling of materials and also look a bit different/ futuristic without being completely unwearable for the average person. Adidas have the Parlay stuff but, but that's all pretty plain and normal looking for the most part.

The Mr Plows are probably the best concept in the whole bunch, aye. I'd be tempted by those or the itchy and scratchy's, there are a couple of other choice items I didn't post, one being a pair of shoes with marge patty and selma on that are a real mood tbh.

They look really nice, buuuuuut as I said a bit earlier in the thread, fuck all chucks unless they are Chuck IIs or All Star Pros as those are the two models that nike added the cushioning into to make them less uncomfortable. Nothing worse than having a pair of shoes that you don't want to wear for any long periods of time because they're absolute bricks, especially if you're paying top whack for them, $180 seems crazy for chucks, so those shits best be real nice top grain leather.
I'm not saying comfort is the be all and end all (it is for me in a lot of cases if I'm not buying stuff on sale) but $180 puts you in the range of stuff like the Nike Pegasus Zoom, almost all of Nike's other react sole models, Ultraboosts are $180 that's the craziest thing about this to me, granted the ultraboosts are not going to keep your feet dry in the wet.
tl;dr I like, but immediate concern for your poor feetsies because chucks are bricks.

My royal blue Tailwind 79s were getting lonely so I bought them some company.

There are donut slides in the vans collection. I don't own any slides. I do now. I am the worst.
Also the Mr Plows are £100 and that's too rich for my blood. The do look amazing though. Seems like a good amount of stock as well as nothing appears to have run straight out of stock yet.

The simpsons ones are fucking ugly as shit, and that's from someone who is a simpsons and vans fan. The pursuit of the 90s is commendable but if somjeone rocked up with the ones Gman mentioned id question them. And i bought the Nightmare Before Xmas ones.
The best ones are the ones that recreate Bart's trainers. I may buy those.
I find Vans to be really disappointing with their designs nowadays. Not so long ago you could be certain if you popped into the Vans shop, they would have all sorts of interesting prints to choose from. Dismal selection they seem to carry these days.
