For me this year has been about going online less, spending more time with family, learning new skills, working a lot and generally focussing my time more. Playing more socially has been awesome, with lots of friends playing destiny and halo it's been a cracking year for socialising on Xbox and I've loved it.

My Santa did a great job, check out this wrapping paper with custom labels!

Glad you liked them! One could say that you were easy to buy for cos Halo and Destiny. But up I could argue it's not very original or creative and just how much Halo and Dedtiny could you have?! I just ended up getting you stuff I would get for myself and hoped you'd like them.

I'll admit that the prints I got for 'free' with Destiny guidebook (I buy too many guidebooks). But thought you'd like them. If I was rich, I'd have gone for a Cook and Becker print.

I got a minecraft card game which after a couple of games my eldest has adopted and was great fun and a brilliant

My second gift was this book

Which was beautifully inscribed

Almost bought a tear to my eye.

Really made my morning, a very thoughtful gift that should keep me busy for quite a while.

Okay, a day later than planned, my secret Santa gifts.

The bits that might be a bit blurry to see are a couple of packs of very decent looking coffee, a Spartacus mug (woo!), a set of nano blocks (Japanese mini lego) and this excellent badge:

I spent a large chunk of Christmas day trying to put the nano blocks together into a fiddler crab, although I'm still not sure that fiddler wasn't a mistranslation that was supposed to read fiddly (badum, tish) and eventually ended up with this:

Now I just have to work out what the weak spot is so I can hit it for massive damage (it's the legs, the weak spot is those damn legs).
