Having a ton of fun with my current Orc team (New Orc Giants).
Decided to go full on strength by numbers and now have 4 Blitzers and 3 Black Orcs all with Mighty Blow. That combined with some lucky injury rolls has seen me tear the last 2 teams to pieces. 2 kills and 3 injuries against Dark Elves last game.
Just been relaxing and playing a solo league, match a night. Great stuff. Love this game.
Next game against Lizardmen though. Nightmare. Hopefully murder a few Skinks in the first half.
You knocked it out of the fucking park, mate. BBII has been on my list for ages. Plus the German packaging gives me time to practice the stuff I've learned with Duolingo.
I'll post here once I've got a team. What races are already represented? I'll try to use something that's a bit different (though if we've not got too many Ratmen, I'll go Skaven. Because Skaven).

I'm Chaos(FML but I have one block chaos warrior at least). We have 2 Humans, an Orc and a Norse. Skaven is probably a good pick tbh, run rings round the bashers.
We're just doing an open ladder league, so it's a slow burner and no need to worry about schedules or anything. Others need to play each other before I play again really, as I've played 3 games.
Tigro is yet to play and everyone else has played one. League is literally just getting going so you're not at a disadvantage jumping in.
Is there a way of uploading a replay to YouTube? I just started a single player league, and my first game was against Wood Elves. I've never seen such hilarious BS in a BB game. To be fair, I flubbed my first half, so I deserved to be 1-0 down. I played much better in the second half, short a rat no less, and made it 1-1. With a couple of turns to go, I was poised on the touch line with a Gutter Runner and a loose ball. 50% to pick it up, 83% dodge for the win. He flubs the pick up*, and in the following turn I have a rat killed, one KO'd, and a third stunned. (I've already had one death, which even my apothecary was unable to save). It goes to over time, and at one point I have a grand total of five rats on the field, all of them lying down. Bearing in mind the costs of replacing players, I just start ending my turns as soon as they start. I know the AI can't make the end zone in time, so I'm happy with the draw, I just don't want to lose any more rats! But the game doesn't end - it goes to a penalty shoot out. Which the player has no say in - the AI does some free kicks, and it's random. The Wood Elves miss, "I" score, and it's 2-1 to me. I should have won it at the end of the game, but it went to over time, which I shouldn't have won, then it decides I win anyway! The entire over time could've been skipped if the Gutter Runner didn't have butter fingers.
A totally brilliant game, made even better by the fact that the Wood Elves got zero completed passes. Zero! Wood Elves! Wonders never cease.
I also got four acheivements for that one game, which was just the icing on the cake. (Win a league game, level up a coach, injure an opposing player, and have your MVP be dead. Lulz.) You could say it was five achievements, as I used my winnings to get some cheerleaders (after getting my team back up to 11 players).
*One thing I've learned from tabletop BB is that 50/50 means "it will fail".

Need to get some games going so I can play some more peeps, if people are still interested. I'm reluctant to get a higher TV until everyone else has played each other.
Doesn't BBII have the same inducements system as the table top game? I.e., if you've got a higher Team Value, the other coach gets the difference in inducements - extra Apothecaries, Cheer Leaders, etc., that last just for that match?
