It kind of comes with territory a bit, KG is the most comparable player and he had his fill of suspensions. Does seem to escalate in direct contrast with his diminishing ability though. Still every team in the league would take him in a heartbeat.
What must it be like to be in the Detroit org at this point. I feel like they may be innovating mechanisms of gallows humour with an energy not seen since WW2.
It's so bizarre. Spurs are tanking so they can get good draft picks to build a team around the expected next superstar of the league. I think Detroit are actually just that shit.
Detroit were superb against the Celtics, took a mammoth Tatum and KP effort in the 3rd to get back into the game after a lax first half. Even then the 4th quarter was tied(ish). No idea how you can have that record with a player as good as Cunningham (always liked Bogdanovic also). Not a fan of Monty Williams
feels that way, tough schedule coming up. Honestly as a Celtic fan right now I am only concerned with facing the Heat / Butler / Spo / Bam. Pacers are annoying but don't see that Defence getting past the second round.
fuck me, thought the big NBA news today was going to be scary Terry going to the heat (brilliant deal for them).
On the one hand firing a head coach before all-star break when you are tied second with the best record in the league looks a bit nuts but so does THAT pistons team dropping 141 points on you. All in all a dreadful hire considering Vogel and Nurse were available.
Be better getting Bud back than Doc.
Didn't realise Griffin had interviewed 14 times for a head coach position and hadn't been successful until the bucks job.
Funny how NBA franchises are so data driven and business savvy but then give the biggest decisions to possibly the least appropriate staff member (the star player) e.g. Le Born the GM has been consistently shit
