Yup, great brawling, light humour. It has moments of seriousness and earnestness, but they're not nihilistic in the slightest - they're TV drama emotive.

This game keeps getting better. Some of the brawls remind me of the best fights in 1 and 2.

And it's well worth completing the real estate / cabaret sidestuff if anyone hasn't. Rewards are mega.

Okie day I got the real estate up and rolling but how do I buy new properties?

When you go past a property you can buy it will say "look" and prompt you to press x. A bit like when it says "check" near phone boxes.

Some are bought by being friends with people in the respective store.

I've had a couple of characters that I'd helped, join my real estate staff.

Haven't been in a position to buy any new properties since though.

Got the TV all to myself though, so will be settling in for proper sesh to kick things off.

Depends on how much time you want to spend pissing about really.

I'm about 15hrs in and have just finished Chapter 7 (I think)

I've not just stuck to the story though.

Goddamit I've just spent 4 hours playing this and all I've done is beat up mr shakedown, invest in real estate, get the ride of my life and complete sub quests. TOO MUCH

Yeah, basically wait for him to do a move, run in, punch twice, repeat. And have a lot of stamina drinks on you.

Yeah don't get greedy and wait for him to do a charge attack you can get two hits in. It takes ages.

I'm approaching 40 hours now and still a way off finishing (I think), but I've done loads of side stuff. The game is as long as you want it to be, and the side missions are enjoyable diversions, rather than busywork.

This game has made me laugh and gasp and pump my fist, and it's moved me too - it's a game with heart and a real sense of empathy. Probably the best 12 or so months of gaming that I can ever remember. What a time to be alive.
