Had my doubts how a western spin would work but bravo to Cloudhead. Admittedly only played through the first level but it just works. Shooting marksmen from rooftops and cowboys off horses is a rootin’ tootin’ fit plus the tunes are blazin’.

That’s a great song choice and something I’ve heard before. The EDM in this game really grew on me but it’s nice to have something a mother different.

I can’t wait to play this later.

I’ve set some modest high scores on the new pistol whip levels. Some of them where set with one gun so come at me bros.

Best new thing on the Quest for ages. It’s simple, but lots of fun. Taking out ships and trains can be tricky initially, but sorties earn you money to upgrade your abilities.

I’ve found sitting far forward on the sofa helps not to bash your controllers into the arms (edge of the seat stuff). Weird probably, but love the butterflies when it get’s a bit much.

I love this game so much.
I was listening to the soundtrack in the gym and it made we want to come home and play a few levels.
Not totes amaze scores. And i took a couple of cheap hits in the second video but not bad runs.

Watching those made me realise how bad I am this. I play it as a shooter, certainly don’t pay attention to the beat, maybe that will come more naturally when I get used to the tracks?

I’ve not played it much tbh, beat saber is still the favourite.

Basically. The bad guys aren’t timed with the music to be shot as soon as they appear.
They are, mostly, timed to run on, stop, and then be shot.
They are also often timed to shoot at you, and the shot going past your ear is part of the music/beat.

Some sections you actually wait for them all to come on, take their places, then you can shoot them, in sequence or a flourish, to some part of the music.

Also, the vast, vast amount of incoming shots can be dodged with just a little tilt of the head at the right time.

There’s an option in the settings to turn on vibrations in the controllers in time with the beat. That helps a lot.

I picked up WW1 Fighters last night and it is pretty impressive. The controls are not the easiest, I would say, and it took me a while to figure out where to get the gun for the airships. By the time I had figured it out, I had shot my load, so to speak. I also find it difficult while sitting on the sofa to grab the stuff below as I hit the cushion before I get to the gun. That seems to be a common problem with VR games while seated.

Great feeling of immersion in the skies, though.
