I've gotten back into this over the last few days and I'm now really enjoying it, whereas before I was a bit underwhelmed. Have done all the seasonal stuff except Rivals and the Playground Games one and it was all very enjoyable. Spent a lot of time upgrading my garage to the top of each cars class, which I never really did before, so now have a wide range of cars that I'd never have driven available.
I'm yet to experience a sandstorm outside of the game intro though - do I need to wait for the dry season?
I've not been playing this a huge amount but I've barely noticed any difference in the seasons. Apart from the type of weather event and maybe more snow in some areas, are there any visible changes?
TBF, I think it was mostly due to winter in the UK. The differences between spring, summer and autumn were pretty mild, then every fourth week the Forza subreddit had a mini meltdown because there was snow.
I spent ages rewinding to smash its board when it was full, not realising it emptied!
Resorted to YouTube for a couple, because you sometimes get more air from lower bumps. You have to find the devs' designed approaches, which are sometimes not the most visually evident.
I keep getting gift drops notifications that disappear by the time I've got to the barn, the way it's teasing me is so disappointing anyone else having this?
What's the idea of having to re-start the game before you can join a convoy?
Anyway whether it was down to not starting drinking until just before a came online as I'd had to pick teh wife up from the airport or the car selection suiting my garage I had a great time.
It's because Quick Resume doesn't always play ball nicely with online based games services.
If you've used Quick Start to get into Forza the convoy system doesn't work as reliably. A restart of the game works best
Not everything is The Best or Shit. Theres many levels between that, lets just enjoy stuff.
