I think that criticism represents a failure to engage with what the game is trying to do. It seems like a terrible inconvenience at first, but it should quickly become apparent that it's anything but. It's the only MV I know that doesn't follow the usual route of a gradual accumulation of power, instead asking you to rethink what you need these powers for and how else you might make progress through the game. Fair enough it might not click if you're looking for a straight MV, but if you're open to something different, it's a brilliant piece of design.AndCallMeCharlie wrote:Liked the demo but read there's some mechanic where it takes away all your upgrades every so often which the reviewer said was as annoying as it sounds qed I didn't buy it

Moot_Geeza wrote:I quite liked the EMMIs. I can handle that sort of thing in a game that controls as well as Dread but I hated Mr. X in the Resi 2 reboot so I'm not sure where I stand on relentlessly being hunted in games. Mr. Shakedown gets a thumbs up too tho.
