I'm a sucker for a shiny cinematic action game, the one take thing is always impressive .Probably because it is one of the most boring games I have ever had the misfortune to play. A button mashing bore-a-thon on PS2. Maybe it has improved - I bloody well hope so.Think I'm gonna jump into God of War properly. I've played it for a few hours but it's never gripped me, dunno why despite it being right up my street.

Las Vegas is the best in London that I've seen, reasonable selection of racers, gun games, fightmans and music games, with air hockey and grabbers thrown in.
Yeah, Casino was a regular for me in my teenage years alongsde Trocadero.
Talking of Triocadero... Fun fact (not): Picturehouse Central was converted from Trocadero Cineworld. I did not know that! Should've guessed. Used to go to that Cineworld all the time when I was a graduate bum with my all-you-can-cinema card.

Aye used to go Casino when I first came to London, they had a mushi cab regularly. Fightmans ranking battles took place there too. Gone now ofc.
There's a good arcade for music game fans by Angel station called Vega, has the only IIDX cab in London, maybe even the country. It's regularly a good 45 min wait for a go tho so fuck that. Told this story before but bumped in a former top player from the States there, he was the only non Japanese person to have their scores included in PS2 IIDX 11 iirc.

There was a IIDX 11 machine at arcade club in Bury were I went last Friday (stag weekend start), couldn't figure out how to start it so after a few minutes trying I went and got a beer for me and a couple mates then went for a quick spliff outside.
Gone back to see what else I could play on the floor and there was a chap giving it fingers of death....was impressive....I ever did get to play on it.
Definitely going back there at some point, so much I didn't play that I wanted.

So I generally really like Platinum games but there's some coarseness in this I'm really not enjoying. I'm frequently swearing at the camera which is often zoomed in way too much.
