Winter Steam Sale is on. Obduction is less than a fiver, a great modern Myst-like. Cruelty Squad is under 8 quid, a horrible but also quite fun and interesting boomer shooter. Reassembly is £3.41, a very cool 'twin stick' shooter with ship and fleet building. And Scanner Sombre is £0.95, a short walking sim experience with an amazing aesthetic and way of exploring your surroundings.
Definitely switch to reader view as that website is fucking terrible to try to read with all the ads constantly moving the page around. Good to see Citizen Sleeper so high up the list.
Strange Horticulture is the perfect Sunday game. Settle down with a cuppa and take your time identifying plants, explore a map and help people with their problems. It’s so chilled. I’d bought to play on Steam Deck but could tell straight away it’s a mouse first game. You can play it with a controller but far better with a keyboard and mouse.
I've got loads of pc games that I want to get into. Might make 2023 a pc gaming year, rather than console. Main ones are:
- Pentiment
- Citizen Sleeper
- Norco
- Signalis
- Escape Academy
- Vigil
- Axiom Verge 2
but the list goes on and on really...
As per usual folks, stuff up for grabs. Doom, Hokko life (serviceable Animal Crossing clone if you like that sort of thing), Midgard, Grow, Conan Chop Chip or something.
