Igor, because you went camping all the time as a nipper like I did I will spare you my Lost In Translation fury.Â
I think it's quite sad that many people don't even consider camping as an option these days, especially families, we pretty much had nothing but stress free good times camping, everyone on the sites is normally really well behaved and there are no drunken scummers tearing about on holiday courtesy of the red tops voucher schemes.
"Let me tell you, when yung Rouj had his Senna and Mansell Scalextric, Frank was the goddamn Professor X of F1."
That's Tour Montparnasse. I loved it, precisely because it sticks out like a wotsit. There was a lot of hooha about it when it was proposed in the 70s, apparently. Similarly, there was a lot of hooha when Mr. Eiffel had his tower built at the start of the 20th century.
@Jacuzzi Jackson, I posted a ton of stuff about Tokyo and Japan on the last page, mainly cos Reg asked but check that out as a starting point if you are considering going.
If you want to stay where Billy Murray and Scarlett Johansen filmed Lost in Translation then be prepared to pay an arm and a leg. Â That is the Park Hyatt Shinjuku.
