I've been away from games for a while, but did they really look like that now or is that just renders, because they are making me think PS4Pro might have to arrive in time for Christmas

I wonder if this will be more focused on the on-line aspect after GTAV turned into a license to print money. Could actually be a good thing if they cut the bloat out of the single player element.
I think RDR really started the openworld multiplayer stuff, it was pretty huge compared to GTA4, there was always something to do, and expanded the world massively. I'd definitely expect that to be a big part of the blueprint

I think RDR was the first time I warmed to a snap-to aiming. It was also the first Rockstar game I liked (had some fun with the original GTA, never played through it). I only did the main story missions, but I've got great memories of those and I think I'm ready for the whole shebang this time.
Hopefully by the time this arrives the standard console editions won't be bodge jobbies.
Great, now they've got time to shoehorn in some Westworld stuff and rewrite the story so that we're really an android cowboy who is trying to find his humanity amid the hell of a plaything theme park.
Because that's what we all want, right?
It wasn't until I hit my thirties that I realised you could unlock rewards by exploring the map
RDR was one of my favourite games last gen. Was thinking that I might have to finally get a PS4 when this came out. If they were going to ditch the single player for mp though I could just save myself some cash.
Mp in gta v is constantly evolving though, theres so much scope to it now and the knightrider racers are amazing fun.
(cars that look like kitt and jump with a press of the left stick in and have parachutes to clear longer gaps.)
I liked RDR story too, I think it did a lot of interesting things and had some great moments. The problem I have is that those moment are stretched across a 50 hour game in a way that does feel stretched. I'd rather they made a more condensed world and a tighter narrative but that's not going to happen .
