I play a lot of indies/Switch so the BIG big console games games do tend to impress me anyway, but it's a full wow from me. Had my Laura Dern holding a leaf face on for the intro then when I got to the bit with the horse I went full slackjaw.

I've been wondering that for years while playing shooters on Xbox. Seems far easier to get kills when I'm solo queueing than when I'm playing in a party, which seems counterintuitive to me. I've plenty of wins in Apex but not one when in party chat. Same goes for Warzone, bounced right off it at launch, seemed like a laggy mess where I lose every 50/50. I go back to it a few weeks ago solo and I'm getting 6-7 kills per game and it feels fine, I win all the fights I feel I should be winning. Jump into a duos with Goober last night and guess what? Couldn't buy a kill
There's other stuff at play, SBMM, servers and connection etc but I definitely think there's something fucky while playing in a party. Shabby said I've got performance anxiety last time I mentioned it but I'm sure he was talking about my penis

Skill based matchmaking.
When solo, you’re tied to your skill level. When in a team, it’ll use a different set of numbers and you are exposed for the scrub you are.
Case closed.
