Paper Beast was great though. I may have exhausted the best of PSVR, I could take a gamble on some of the PSN offerings but the chances of finding another Statik are low.
Edit: Actually, something like this should help...
Can I still access the vita store somewhere online? It's horrible to navigate on the vita itself, and now Fez is out on switch but cheaper on vita it might be time to have one last look before it closes down.
(edit, o I can of course just go to psprices.com, set region to NL and system to vita and browse that)
I have a little bit of money left on my EU psn account, and it's slightly cheaper on vita than switch, so I'll probably just get it.
Am now slowly going down the rabbit hole of figuring out what vita games to consider digitally before the store closes. It's not danganronpa though, as that one's been pulled already.
If I was to sell my mint condition boxed PS4 Pro how much does any one think it might be worth?
Now that they're discontinued and the PS5's so hard to get, they're holding their value.
Although prices are falling: CeX were offering £113 for the baser when Moot bought mine, and that's down to 98. They currently pay 136 for the Pro, so I reckon 140 for a Badger, or 160 for a random.
I’m selling mine for £120 to a badger with four games. Not to make it sound better but simply because they are four disc games I have that I won’t be using again.
I spend quite a lot on games, certainly far more than I did a few years ago. I haven't scrutinised the exact amount because it's all within budget, but I reckon it averages out at around £35 p/m (a decent pub trip/one meal out for two/unused gym membership territory). I'll drop £20-25ish on indie sales most months and buy a handful of physical games a year. That bags me multiple dozens of things to play though. £70 for one game is an absolutely horrific prospect imo, and even though it would be doable if I rearranged my other chess pieces I couldn't stomach it without the swapsies arrangements on here (o/ Muzzy). I'm not sure how gameshare works this gen but exploiting every possible loophole seems like an essential tactic at this stage.
Edit: or perhaps major next gen releases will hold their value for resale, Nintendo style?
I can imagine cdkeys will still be a thing for a cheaper option but I honestly can't see me bothering with anything on PS5 unless it's an absolutely essential barnstormer of a game. It'll sit there collecting dust apart from once or twice a year when a game comes along worth playing.
I believe Sony has stopped producing digital codes for games. Take that with a pinch of salt as I can’t remember where I heard it, but a quick skin through CDKeys and Amazon suggests it might be the case, neither of them appear to be offering digital editions of full games, just DLCs (and Spider Man remastered which was kind of a DLC at first if I’m not mistaken).
Well shit. At this point I'm wondering if I'll just end up being a casual one game a year type fella as I rarely finish any game I buy. I spend no more than two hours a week playing lately. I've spent a fortune on games and barely touched any of them. Feels bad.
I haven’t seen PS games on CDKeys. Best bet for digital is obviously to buy wallet top ups cheaper and wait for sales which is what I’m doing. Save between 12% and 16% and then wait for a 50% off sale.
Ha ha. I still recall going into this little indie game shop after ordering my NTSC USA version of Super Streetfighter II Turbo Edition for the Snes. My mate thought I was crazy paying £60.
The Fire Emblem Fates big box was the most I've paid. £90, maybe? I forget the exact price. For an individual game, I'm not sure. SFII:SCE would've been £59.99 but my dad footed that bill.
Price usually settle down after a spot of initial new gen gouging, but given that these things are flying off the delivery vans I can see £70 being more of a permanent thing.
