It looks like it was actually taken pretty seriously, to be honest. Like Margot Robbie didn’t get a Best Actress nom but nothing else sticks out personally. And given there are no other signs they weren’t taking Barbie seriously they were probably just more enthusiastic about the other lead actress performances.
