I don't know if you could hear it on tv or not, but our sections reaction to the lesner win was a chant of bullshit.
Waste of everyones fucking time. The Deadman goes out with barely a whimper, in one of his worst ever matches, to a guy we see 10 times a year, most of which he doesn't wrestle in? Why not give it to fucking Hogan?
They threw the Divas under the bus with it as well, wasting a perfectly good idea there.
I fucking loved the streak ending. Going off how shite the match actually was, to have it as the same old same old woulda been pathetic. Crowd seemed dead during it.
Undertaker leaving off the back of such a match was fantastic, no losing to a Punk, or an up and comer who could fuck their career within the next year or two.
Lesnar won a few times over Taker, it was believable, it created an epic WM moment and it was totally unexpected. Having Taker win again, after what came before in the match where he visibly looked absolutely fucking shot woulda just made me put my fist through the screen.
Enough about Taker and the streak, fuck that noise. The crowd didn't seem to care anyway.
Well no it wasn't. When the hand went down for 3, no one believed it. And the way the ref reacted didn't make it seem over. It was only when 21-1 appeared on the screen that people actually realised that was it.
Unless Brock will be working every Monday for the.next few years, this was a total waste of the last 2 decades of work they put in. It tarnished the streak, the man and the company. It was a shock for the sake of a shock, badly executed for no benifit to anyone.
It wasn't an epic moment in the arena. It killed the show flat.
If Taker wanted it, and wanted it to end to a performer seen as a beast, then fair enough. Why give it to some upcoming jobber/prospect who may fuck their career in a year or two?
It makes perfect sense, I can get why you all were in shock (Taker! No! ) etc but mate it was epic.
Y'all got your Bryan moment that peeps been pissing and moaning at for months.
No, everyone is entitled to their opinion. My opinion is that it was a complete and utter waste.
And DS, it kinda ruined the Bryan Benoit Remix moment too.
It didn't have to be an up and comer. Hogan wasn't that when he beat Andre. He was the champ for three solid years. But he still had ages left. He was still going to be around lots.
Brock will now fuck off until he deigns to grace us with his presence.
Undertaker would blates have said okay for brock to win. Undertaker is clearly not in a fit state to carry on and the streak becomes more of a joke as he lumbers around pulling off a tombstone after getting battered
Thought the hw champ, cena and hhh matches were the best.
I think the streak was a bit of a fluke. He was like a mid guy that no one really cared about but way better than jobbers, then all of.a.sudden it was a thing.
