Thats a pretty decent top 10. I'm glad Mass Effect 2 jumps a few places to take out RDR as I loved it.

List would have been perfect had Arkham Asylum replaced City.

Yup. I'm Amazed Journey made it in at 26. I don't actually remember it as a game, it was more of a mundane trundle that ended abruptly, like a tutorial to work out how your character moves before the actual game starts.

I'm just going to be blunt here and say... nope. From my exp it's a beautiful, innovative online-social experience, that you can't really appreciate unless you actually play the thing first hand.

Nope. There's a ps4 version due soon (afaik), but the ps3 one looks and runs wonderfully as is.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 would have, on its own terms, gotten more votes than Halo 3 had SMG1 not taken them all. 205 votes between the two Galaxy games really makes clear how damn good they were. But people seem to lean more towards the feeling of fresh novelty of the first, over the perfection of the sequel.

Both games are inseparable for me.

Good work, elf. I didn't expect no. 1 to change, but it's brought some of the others much closer together, and ME2 probably got voted for by more people than those around it, so should be there.

One thing that seems to be lacking much of a presence there is racing games. Is NFS Hot Pursuit the highest rated (excluding Trials)? Wasn't Forza much more popular than that?

Also surprising how many big, single player only, action adventures type games there are around the top. I thought the online games might be more dominant.

I played through it twice, convinced I'd missed something and the game was going to open up and actually start. A few hours later, I switched it off, with an empty feeling in my heart.

It may as well have not been a game, more a Pixar short.
