God I love the Demon negotiations in this. Just managed to squeeze 60 000 yen out of a single Shiki-Ouji in the second palace. Constantly exploiting its weakness with some tender magic and rank 2 in the Sun confidant.

With rank 3 (Fundraising), you're likely to be swimming in cash.

Edit: Actually, you're not, because if it triggers it essentially puts a stop to the whole back and forth thing. Shit. Should've kept it at 2 for now and grinded a bit.

No surprise but I really like this game. In-group bantz and social linkage is so far above 3.

Dungeons have left me a bit cold but the rest is super-tight.

Yes, the acid jazz is splendid in this game. Constantly pulsating with the city around you. One of the reasons I rarely quick travel, and instead relish in the interconnectedness of the world, going train by train, platform by platform. Walking and grooving amidst the stand-ins, listening to gossip and the daily hustle. Love the loading screens, that delicious stereo sound effect of the train cars.

The game is filled with so many small, brilliant, creative touches.

This afternoon I finally got to the calling card for dungeon 3. That was definitely my least favourite dungeon - really put me off playing for a while, but I got there. Will be glad to get back into the swing of things. New favourite music - the gun shop.
