Most of the outstanding ballots are coming from Arizona's largest county, Maricopa County, which is home to Phoenix and includes Sinema [the Democratic candidate]’s congressional district.

It's all just so strange, we were at a biker oriented bar two weeks ago (it's pretty close, there's a fun road to ride that goes over the mountain behind our house which is a popular ride, there's a bar halfway "Hell's Kitchen" which is a famous stop). We already noticed something must have happened along the road, as the traffic was coming to a halt were the bar was. Once that settled down there a bike crash in front of the bar.
For some reason that's a cue for your typical American guy to start talking to me, and he explained the earlier holdup was because there was a guy waving a gun around at the bar earlier. People managed to scare him off and got him away from the bar, police picked him up a bit further on the road half an hour later.
Then he starts talking about the strict gun laws, how he never takes his weapon with him because people on Harley's are already an easier target for police, and he just doesn't want the trouble. But he's also pointing at rocks in the distance and telling us how he would be able to shoot that and with what gun he would do it. Also showed some pictures of a deer shot by his son with a bow.
I don't think I can ever get used to stuff like that.

Yeah, because international agreements on what we should do are bound to save the planet. If you're being serious on climate change you introduce a 200% international tax on fossil fuels right fucking now. Literally double the price. Right now. That's maybe, hopefully, how you get under 2 degrees. Anything else is bullshit.
Maybe no global financial crisis.
