All these polls you read over the last few years suggest Sanders or Corbyn's policies are considered broadly popular out there yet when those policies are filtered through our current media systems the people proposing them are rendered utterly unelectable, or so it seems.

I feel a lot of people dont believe that it is possible to extract money from the top of society and in a lot of ways they arent wrong.

Annoyingly we were painfully close to a solution to the rich hiding money.
Bernie, Corbyn and the EU clamp down could have been enough to really make a global difference.
Instead we have Trump, Sick boy and whatever will be left of the EU after the political fallout of Covid 19. -

I would have loved to have seen Bernie and Corbyn in power. I'm resigned to the fact that people are incapable of voting in their own interest, because they are too easily convinced that what's in the interest of the rich and powerful is in their interest. I don't know how we change that, so now I just hope that whoever gets in is at least competent. That would be an improvement on now.

I have seen many a joke, SNL skit etc about him losing it a bit but I dont follow actual speeches by any of the American candidates until maybe the tail end of the actual election.
If he is showing strong signs of dementia now then I really would be concerned. -
