Summary

No surprises that, after his four-goal bonanza at Bournemouth, Lukaku was the top scorer this week, with 21 points. He's now the top goal scorer this season, and the joint-top-scoring forward in the fantasy league (although Sánchez and Hazard are ahead of him). He shares the spot with Ibrahimovic, who is inexplicably ahead of Costa in points.

Klopp-prodigy Mkhitaryan was in second place this week, a full 7 points behind Lukaku. Bournemouth's Josh King scored twice in his team's thumping at the hands of Everton, so I doubt his joint-third place is much consolation. He was joined in his 13-point tally by Gabriel Jesus (Man City), Pedro Obiang (West Ham), the week's best defender Lamine Koné and Jermaine Defoe (both Sunderland).

Barkley (Everton) prematurely celebrated his way to 12 points, a score he shared with Ranocchia (Hull) who got an assist while playing his part in shutting out Lolerpool. Hazard's brilliant self-made goal against Arsenlol helped him secure 11 points, a tally he shared with Valencia, who got an assist, and Niang, who scored, got an assist, but sullied his scorecard with that yellow card. McCarthy (Everton), N'Diaye (Hull) and Smalling (Man U) complete the list of players netting double-figure points.

Mannone (Sunderland) was the week's best keeper, with 9 points.

Aye, you're going well. We've got each other in the head to head league this week and it was looking pretty close. Until last night's game anyway, now it's become a trouncing.

I've tinkered again this week, had enough of Sanchez so he's out and it's freed up enough money for two decent midfielders.

Next gameweek is an odd one though due to FA Cup. Only 8 teams playing so could be an opportunity to catch up for those with the right squad.

Nice to see my forward line of Zlatan and Kane has been putting the work in.

Round Roundup

Two goals, an assist, a clean sheet, 87 minutes played and 3 bonus points saw Son (Spurs) take the highest score this week with a whopping 19 points. Tremendous. Crystal Palace's Andres Townsend got almost the same tally, but only scored one of the three his team put past Arsenlol, so he 'only' got 14 points.

I'd never previously noticed, you get more points for goals depending on where you play, so Lukaku (Everton) and Zlatan (ManU) only get four points each for theirs, for a total of 13 and 12 respectively. Jagielka (Everton) gets 6 for his goal, so he also reached 12 points.

Zaha (Palace), Clasie (Southampton) and Trippier (Spurs) each used either goals or assists to get their 11 points each, while Hazard (Chelsea) and Shaw (ManU) round off our top 10 and (conveniently) were also the only other players to score in double figures.

You have to go further down the table to find the best keepers, Heaton (Burnley), Hennessey (Palace), Romero (ManU), and Forster (Southampton) who each got 7 points. The algorithmatron decreed that Hennessey was the choice for team of the week, though. On which note...
