Why has the new layout made that happen? Most of the CTF game types can become this in my experience. When people aren't calling out it's very hard to know where the flag is when it's taken and not dropped or the player isn't shot. I've found the key to stopping it is to play defence, preferably with a shotgun, and to be aware of how many of the enemy team are alive.
Ah that's new? I see. Yeah it does mean there's way less ways of putting damage into enemies who are in your flag, which will mean the flag gets away more often. Strange change.
Wow, they've already done some secondary changes to the summer preview.
Empire strongholds the mid stronghold is back in the pit.
And they've moved saw on to Empire and moved railgun back to Fathom, but back in the bottom.
Enjoying the suck it and see attempts. Especially given they put a big green icon on powerweapons anyway.
Plasma Caster is so useable now.
My current pet peeve though, is spawning Red side on Eden and being the only one taking hydra and heading to rocks.
Every game, dudes don't go rocks, the other team gets 'em, and it's a cluster fuck from then on. Snipes are so easy to nerf on that first attempt, yet people don't do either.
That's actually amazing. Maps are going to be craaaazy. Really hope it's not too long before the best competitive maps are put into HCS game types. They definitely look good enough these days.
While one shot and getting shot in the back I, on the turn, bank a 'nade which enables Nexx to clean up the first guy with the pistol. Then the ground pounds are awesome, I didn't realise you got two in a row, only saw the first on my death screen.
He couldn't get on a good team. It's possible he could be back. Not like most of these guys were competing during the Halo 4 dark ages so a break would't be out of the question.
it's not like he's 40, and it's not like it's exactly the same, but it's interesting to me there isn't the same strict fall off (as far as I can tell) as there is with Starcraft/RTS etc.
