He has an issue with Comic Relief or aid charities in general or how they go about things. That's fine, some of those concerns are valid.

His first action is to snipe someone who holds no power there and, given their track record is likely trying to do good.

When contacted by CR before all this he didn't respond with his views on what they should be doing, perhaps drop some names of people they could use. He blanked them.

With his influence as an MP he chose to do fuck all until Dooley turned up.

Now hes rowing backwards, elaborating on opinions an linking to fucking articles.

But he is Labour and the correct side of it so swallow the excuses and ignore the hamfisted Labour brand approach and blame it all on the big bad media.

What are we talking about again. Who's he?

I'm not sure I fully get this.

Is it misrepresentation to get aid that's the problem?

Is it the fact is mostly white people giving the aid?

Is it that comic relief are bad at dispensing the aid?

Or none of the above?

I do think there’s an issue around the representation of Africa. It’s not that it’s the fault of Comic Relief, but those Comic Relief films are the main exposure that most people here in the U.K. have with life in Africa, so they’re taken as representative of what life is like on the whole continent.

The issue is that there’s very little coverage of Africa as a continent in this country and pretty much the only version of contemporary African life that the vast majority of people in the U.K. are likely to see in any given year are those segments on Comic Relief which focus on the very poorest parts of Africa leading to a skewed perception of the whole continent.

So it's not a case of comic relief misrepresenting things, more that other outlets aren't covering other more positive aspects of Africa.

If that's the case , than isn't any charity going to be guilty of only showing poor people

I live on an estate where things have definitely quieted down since the police took more of an interest.

But I guess how it's done is part of the key.
