it's tedious but you gotta go round the desert with your scanner and will find it.  I did it once, he wanted more and I thought fuck this tedious shit.  I did come across some nice bits in the desert that I hadn't seen before though when I was scouring.

 you see him again if you go back to broken housing complex area in desert.  Worth doing I reckon. 

 did you play the game the machine made?  I only did the first bit, you play and find a hole in the hall and make your way round and that is you testing the game.  He then asks for parts for a bigger game or something and I progressed in story too far to then do that 

 I had so much money that I gave him lots here and there, you get some items, can't remember if you get anything decent though, I stopped after a while, maybe you do eventually get a great weapon or something, I dunno 

you can replay any side missions after beating the game fully.

I thought you'd play as 2A, the corrupt Android that takes the Forest King. Elf mentioned at some point that the cover has a kinda spoiler, I thought the 3 characters would be each playthrough.

Title screen seemed to suggest this will be story C and D. Guessing it's based on a choice that 9S knows but 2B not. Think Cinty mentioned once that E will come naturally after D. Is that right? Those should be the important endings right? Pretty sure I can finish it before MHW if that's correct, I'll have to figure out how to approach the other endings.

Only done the very first section so far.  Was amused by watching my faffing about in the setup menus from the first playthrough - particularly as I annoyed 9S (now me) by refusing to turn auto-destruct on.  The change in perspective is fun so far, and I'm interested to see what else I'll learn...

Hacking Eve wasn't as exciting as I'd thought, I really like the minimalist style they went for in these sections, but the part with Adam was better handled. Corrupting yourself didn't feel like a real treat either. It didn't really bother me, but as there's hardly any other fight for 9S in this section, it didn't feel as nice as 2B's version. 
I'm pretty sure I was just playing the 9S part of the story in PT2, but 2B's comment at the end still confuses me "Why does it always end like this?" Is that a general comment about losing loved ones, or 9S specific? Who knows. Might figure it out. 2B doesn't seem to know that 9S had split himself, so I'd guess PT1 and PT2 are the same story. At first I thought we'd be stuck in a loop, and history would repeat itself with slight changes here and there.
So I'm guessing the 9S at the start of PT3 doesn't have a memory of the fight with Eve anymore, or did his memory splitting prevent that and he does know everything? Bit unsure about that. Might figure it out, just putting the questions in here to get back to if I'm still none the wiser after seeing the real credits and made my way through all the spoilers.
Loved the visual effects in the first bigger fights, that's how far I've gotten. Think I took out the machine that was interfering with the androids, and that's about it. Will jump in again this afternoon

Apparently there's a fight where you fight against two males who are supposed to represent some of the developers? I have no idea who he was referring to, might ask for the video after I'm done but it bugged me a bit when I tell him I'm not done yet he still goes on with his story. Don't think he meant Adam and Eve
