I was quite surprised/excited to hear about this. I've not got the money for an upgrade right now so i'll definitely be waiting to hear more in-depth reviews on if it's changed for the better. Want to move up to Ableton Live 9 too...weadre wrote:So looks like Logic Pro X is out now. £139.99 seems pretty reasonable. I don't think I paid much less than that for Logic Express a few years back. Can't really afford it at the sec, but will be interested to see if it fares better than Final Cut X did.

Nice, friend of mine has the actual SH101 synth, love playing with that.GurtTractor wrote:I've been playing around with this - It's sounds completely ace! I'm gonna have to get it soon, the demo is fully functional except you can't save presets. Get an arpeggio going and tweak dat VCF!
Yeah, likewise, virtual all the way these days. Was making eyes at an Arturia MiniBrute the other day though...GurtTractor wrote:Yeah I wish I had some real hardware but in lieu of that some virtual stuff is really good, particularly the TAL 101 and their Juno 60 emulation. I usually then put them through some Variety Of Sound stuff which I couldn't recommend more, I've been putting the 101 through the Thrillseeker VBL plugin, for some serious phatness.
I hadn't, cheers. Yep, that's definitely on the list of things I want but can't have right now.GurtTractor wrote:Really hope my college gets one or more Minibrutes for the studios... Check this vid if you haven't already -
