Glad you escaped. Deary me, the thought of ending up longer than planned is brutal. I'm half way through day 2. Yes, I'm literally counting the minutes.Wookienopants wrote:I know that feeling. At least my wife’s family all speak English. All the time. Nearly had a heart attack yesterday when we got a text saying our return ferry had been cancelled due to the storm and we were going to have to stay a few more days. Thankfully we managed to negotiate a space on the much larger, slower and more therefore more reliable overnight boat a day earlier before the storm gets too bad.Scout wrote:It's going to be a long week. Boat is on the 1st.
And now there’s a sickness vomiting bug in the house and my wife now has it. Which means my boys will get it shortly if they don’t have it already and I’ll have two vomiting toddlers to deal with.
And then I’ll inevitably get it on the day we sail home.
Worst Christmas ever
