Bet that's just the rain. It's all looking pretty greyish the last few days, it's been raining all the time. Grey sky, reflects in the water, greyish buildings, that's all I seem to see.Â
Loads of fun is had going around with the brightly orange coloured Vespa, helmet with no visor and no windscreen. Rain in your face hurts at 50/60 km/h. -
You need some goggles. Orange goggles.Â
I have noticed when in Ireland, or other countries, that people paint their houses brightly and colourful. Certainly more than people do in this country. -
A load of day glo barrets homes would look daft, what this country needs is better domestic architecture.

My Dad is doing my bathroom at the moment.
Ripped out the bath and pulled all the tiles down. Then we realised the shower cubicle wouldn't fit at the end that used to have the bath taps, so floor boards have been pulled up and pipes re-routed to the other side of the bathroom.
Nearly trapped the cat under the floor boards when putting them back, she came out covered in cobwebs looking like something out of an Indiana Jones film.
Tiling today, should be done, hopefully by Friday. Driving to my parents place for a shower every night is getting really old really fast.
How do dads just know how to do this shit? Ive been helping where I can,but mostly just carrying stuff. -

Haha, my parents house was like that when they moved in. Nothing was measured in standardised units, not one wall was straight and the garage elecricity turned out to be entirely jumped off the oven socket.
My Dad's an aviation engineer so if anything his tolerances are way OTT and nothing is ever bodged. -

Got an electrical question. Everyone be experts please.
Ive got some lights 650w 230v.
1, So the required fuse is worked out by diving the two right? Just under 3. Although they came with 5a fuses. Should I change the fuses?
2, I'll be running the lights off an extension cable. Should that have the same fuse as the appliance?equinox_code "I need girls cornered and on their own" -
5A fuses are fine, any smaller and it will blow. The extension fuse has to be rated higher. Are these lights portable? If they are you really need an RCD protecting the lot. -
Cheers. I had read that a fuse can be lower but never higher (this was moments ago on a google search so I was obviously reading some bullshit). But why would a 3amp Fuse not work? 650/230 is 2.82 so that leaves me confused. Not doubting you, Its just that I dont know a thing about this stuff.
They are film/photography lights so they are portable.
The extension has a 13amp fuse. I assume thats ok to leave as is then?

It would work, but it's cutting it a bit close and it might blow in the middle of your porn shoot and you don't want to miss the money shot. The 5A will still protect the lights.
