Hmmmm. I've just watched it and was disappointed. I'm a big fan tbh, but that all just seemed like a bit of a muddle. Superbowl half time show is a tricky one to get right, and I think a lot of the people like her fall a bit flat despite all the razzmatazz. The rockier ones tend to work better in that atmosphere for my money.poprock wrote:Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl half-time show was fucking incredible. That is how to be a pop star.
+1. Gave it a listen yesterday. Great.Stopharage wrote:Sampha's debut album is very, very, very good. The best debut I've heard in a long time and beautifully crafted.
I think the main issue was they couldn't have gaga "jump" from that position on the roof and have her actually land anywhere near where she lands. They lowered her from a completely different location to where she sang the opening.djchump wrote:The drones were a prerecord, possible excuses cos of weather and FAA - more info on intel's website I think (was an intel project, they've done it with 500 before).
Still pretty cool.
