Sony might have wanted to check that first.
It's true. Every pad I've used in recent years I've just picked it up and got on with it without thinking about it. I came from the 360 hearing that Sony pads were terrible. But the DS4 is good. The Switch Pro is good. The XBox One one is good.Minnesänger wrote:The unsexy truth is - controllers are mostly pretty great now. Both the One Pad and the DS4 were better than their predecessors and, personal preferences regarding stick position and d-pads aside, we’re fine to use. Dual shocks always had slightly dodgy analogue sticks, but the DS4 was a massive improvement. The speaker and touchpad were under-utilised but nice touches. The share button was great. Microsoft have sorted their dpad problems now, which were always terrible, and the triggers are better than they have ever been. I’m sure both of these controllers will be fine.
Doesn't the Bone pad already have haptic feedback, or is that called something else? Impulse triggers are haptic, no?
