It’s a small issue that won’t matter to a lot of people, but to those who have gone for a new TV with 2.1 functionality you’ll need to get an ultra speed cable.
So if you planned on getting Dirt 5 for some 4K 120hz gaming it might be best to pre-order a cable just in case. It could be that Sony have just labelled the cable incorrectly, but it’ll be a pain in the ass to set it all up out your TV and possibly have to do it again.
No it came with hdmi too.cosmicjellybean wrote:I mean it’s not unheard of, the ps3 came with composite cables at launch I think? I remember selling a lot of HDMI cables at game at the time.

You had a cable, but no console?
Minkymu wrote:Tbf thats a huge issue.
A lot of people will have upgraded to 2.1 tvs (like myself) ready for featires such as VRR only to find they need to drop another £40+ on a cable that should be in the box.
Why advertise and hype vrr, auto low latency and120hz etc when you’re console cannot deliver out of the box. Madness.
What the fuck is going on at Sony?

Where do Sony advertise VRR, auto low latency or 120hz?
Obviously as I have a fancy TV iv already got the pro on a hdmi 2.1 and the pro will go in spare room so I can just swap the cables.
(Cost me about £12)
