I just got a galaxy note 10+ today.
First Samsung iv owned and have no idea how to use it as all buttons etc seem to be reversed from the Sony I had before.
I know I know, I'm so far behind the times but I'm old now and confused most of the time.
I believe you can reverse the navigation buttons, if they're the main gripe. Alternatively, Nova is very good and customisable launcher and more akin to stock android than Samsungs UI.
Thank guys will definitely look into it when I return.
At a campfire meeting thing for men's mental health to its so it may take me a while to get to it.
The latest update to this S20 has killed the previous version of android auto and replaced it with a new thing built into Google Assistant. Dunno if I like it. Hmph.
How had I not real realised that on the no home button mode, you can swipe left/right at the bottom of the screen to cycle between open apps? Far easier than how I was doing that before!
After several weeks of anticipation, I got to see the Galaxy S22 in real life today. Spent a minute looking at it before releasing a great big "MEH" and walking away.
£700+ saved! Thank God phones are boring nowadays.
Same, love my pixel 5. Had a 3 before this too and that was ace aside from battery life. Think I'm firmly in bed with Google now, can't see me going for anything else.
I was surprised how cheap it was tbh. £30 up front, with 100gb of data for about £37pm. Only thing that isn't great about it is the fingerprint scanner, which is a tad slow and unreliable.
Fucking hell. I've just got a text from EE telling me that my free Samsung Chromebook 4, that I apparently got free with my new phone, is being delivered in 4 weeks time.
I had no idea about this offer when I bought the phone.
Looked at the Samsung offerings. The S22 is more than I need. S21 FE appears to be a S21 with less/worse features for more money. S21 similar spec as Pixel 6 with worse deals.
Phone shopping really has become dull mind. Im excited to have a phone with a healthy battery and not smashed to fuck on the back but thats about it really.
Cheers for the advice. Just found out that Samsung will give me £285 trade in for my phone so I've pretty much settled on the above, there's a special offer to give £250 on top of trade in value, which for my phone is £35. So it will cost £364!
EDIT opened a credit account to get 10% off, so make that £303 when I have traded my phone in. Bit of a bargain, right?
