I mean, I know I'm not supposed to like it anymore, but this season has been a joy to watch - minor hiccup of the dragon episode aside, which was still better than most other single episodes of anything else. The 'sssssilent' sequence was hilarious - so well done.

Worth sticking with though, as it charts the stranger than fiction hunt for a psychopath, which somehow completely passed me by when it made it into the news.

Accept it as pulpy TV in the mould of Spartacus though and it blasts along. There's enough material in the books to keep things interesting. I do wonder how people who aren't familiar with the material are following it all, I cans see why they've thrown everything in, but it's not clear what they're doing. Maybe deliberate.
