- Either get a CELTA or start a MA. Probably the former, as I have half an eye on doing the MA over 2014/2015 in China. Long distance would be better financially but there are some solid reasons for going back to uni.

If you're interested in carrying on TEFL teaching and want to work for the BC in the future, get a CELTA and soon. The BC won't even consider hiring anyone without one, and all but one BC teaching centres require both a CELTA and two years of post-CELTA experience. Everything you're doing at the moment will count for practically zero if you're applying for the BC.

Stop smoking and train almost daily. Training warrants a fuck tonne of food. And also a fuck tonne of monitoring. Which I am most likely not to maintain. But we'll see. Another year and all...

Publish and present three papers, write a workshop, cut down on news, meditate, see more family, maintain home (bin junk stored in attic, 8 monitor svga 64MB gfx card anyone?).

Yep. However I am a bit bored of having an opinion on almost everything before someone has finished talking about it. In a weird way I am trying to open my mind by consciously avoiding mass media as a daily staple when it isn't necessary.
