Yeah, I toyed with the idea of going to the Glasgow gig but settled for just re-listening to the album after seeing the "re-imagined" bit on the tour blurb. Fingers crossed it's awesome for you.
Gig was really.really fucking good, a lot of reimagined tunes fhat worked really well then they drop the original versions of Angel and Teardrop and the place went mental.
Adam Curtis doing the visuals, so very political. Proper good night.
Well they wouldn't cos it isn't one of their songs

Going in to see the Dandy Warhols. Big nostalgia trip for my days of seeing them in their hometown while they were still high for every gig. Had a few beers and feeling hype.
They were absolutely grand. The Dandys have rarely been anybody’s favourite band, but they’ve always been a reliably great night out. A proper band. A bit of the Stones here, a country number there, a touch of stoner rock, a big wedge of American indie … and tons of charisma.
We danced, we sang, we had a good time. Viva la Warhols. 25 years and counting.
NOthing truly mind blowing but I was kinda just having a laugh with folk. Caleb Caudle's new album has quite the pedigree on the band he's putting together for it and some of the new tracks were pretty good. I've liked him for a while though. Nicki Bluhme was really good, as was Beth Rowley. Mick Farris more of a soulful vibe, white guy singing motown, but good voice and quite the showman. There were five venues dotted around Hackney so there were a few clashes. I put together a playlist of Google Music and the AMAUK awards are tonight so will be intrigued to see who wins what. Oh first time I saw Austin Lucas with a full band and that was cool, not his regular band but the keyboardist was amazing, he won best multi instrumentalist last year so I want to check him out

Used to like them, especially Transatlanticism. Drifted away but assume they're still good. Did you know they got their name from a Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band death disc parody?
Top stuff, Moot. Earth Angel (The Penguins version) was the first dance at our wedding. Immediately followed by Johnny B. Goode for BTTF combo points of course.
Jon Hopkins last night, stunningly good, superb. Shame about the raft of absolute cunts behind me who would not shut the fuck up about their banal office jobs all fucking night bar when they needed to film everything for about 2 songs and needed to do it by basically sticking an arm in my face. Couple of sharp nudges sorted it out but fuck me, fuckin club kids. Why pay Aus gig prices only to face the other way for the whole night and prattle on about fuck all?
