Beat em ups is the one genre Snes loses on. It wins convincingly on everything else. Prove me wrong.

Had one after the other and loved them both to bits..Sometimes here. Sometimes Lurk. Occasionally writes a bad opinion then deletes it before posting.. -

Seriously though, even looking back as a less biased adult, I think snes was better. Although maybe I'm still biased after all. Controller was defo superior and it had golden era Nintendo 1st party titles which would give anything the edge. -

The Mega Drive was my first console, therefore it's the best. Many happy afternoons spent playing Sonic 2 and Batman and Robin with my brother 'til he somehow broke the fucking thing and our mum got us an N64.

I own them both - that was kind of my point - did you prefer apple throwing cloud based levels or down and dirty SWORD usage -

Snes all the way. Bigger better louder and with more colors.
Tbh, I was a bit jealous of md owners playing Sonic and Streets of Rage 2.

This is easy. SNES.
1.) Look at the hardware and the difference in technical quality between games available on both systems. MD may be faster, but I believe the SNES trounces it every other way. And don't forget the revolutionary controller from Ninty that introduced the layout still being used to this day.
2.) Look at various all-time-BESTEST-game-EVAR lists created by gaming press like Edge, and count number of MD and SNES games. I genuinely do believe that the SNES would again win hands down. No contest.I am a FREE. I am not MAN. A NUMBER. -
