Game of Thrones TV show with massive spoilers everywhere.
  • Indeed, and that's a fair point too.
Come with g if you want to live...
  • For all the bluster and spectacle, it's the script and the believable (and much-needed) use of vulgar language that has been the high point this season. Yes, the fast travel nonsense has been a bit much but as popcorn tv goes it's pretty peerless.

That was diamond tier telly, fuck did I enjoy that ending. Best of the final eps based on my initial reaction, had it all.
Skerret's posting is ok to trip balls to and read just to experience the ambience but don't expect any content.

  • Story started with incest and is ending that way too. ThIS... IS.. WRITUNG!!
  • Good episode.
Shame its such a long wait for the final season.
  • Well that was an episode that had me feeling like I used to during the earlier seasons. Great to see they still have it in them! The Littlefinger thing helped set up me feeling actually anxious when Jamie was chatting with Cersei. That's how it used to be. There was too much "heroes being heroes" earlier this season when it used to be heroes trying to be heroes and not doing so well at it.

Great stuff and had me excited again for the next season. Considering they didn't show old mate wildling cark it then I figure he'll turn up again. Hopefully.

More incest is always good too.

Some great character chats. I also liked Sam continuing to be the audience in a way and just being "wtf bran you weirdo".
  • Literally every leak turned out to be true
  • I clapped when theon got kicked in the groin like five times and his special power was revealed! I CLAPPED BECAUSE I REMEMBER HE HAD NO COCK I WAS IN ON THE JOKE OMG I LOVED HIS SMIRK I CLAPPED SOOO MUCH
  • I was really hoping he'd just be smooshed into the sand and the other people just sailed away.

God that would have better. Good ending for the character too. He gets the forgiveness he needs and stood up to a bloody death at the end. But no.
  • After finding this series a little underwhelming on the whole, I still blurted out an audible "oh shiiiiit" when she said
    Spoiler:
Felt like a return to how things used to roll in the show.
    Spoiler:
    Hyped for next season

    Spoiler:
  • So kaleesi and snow are brother and sister?
  • Is there a reason we are using spoiler tags?
I will use them but not sure it is necessary as it has aired now.

    Spoiler:
    .
  • So kaleesi and snow are brother and sister?

    Auntie and Nephew.
Youporn just got a new category.
  • Wasn't the stupid reveal that they have the same dad? Ehhh.
  • Nah that was Rhaegar son of Aerys (the mad king), Danny's brother, but not the pussy brother she was with in season 1.
  • Ohh I thought that guy was the mad king, welp.
  • Apropos of little has it been established once why Circe actually needs to be deposed, like, morally? I can't recall a single act of cartoonish peasant-smashing tyranny since she took over.
  • Man that was awesome. I was shitting it for Jamie!
And whooped a little at the Littlefinger reversal.
Some good talking and I THINK a flash of Dany's tits. No minge though.
And Cersei being an utter cunt. Nice.
No Cleganebowl though. Who did the Hound mean was coming for the Mountain?
The ending though. Fuuuuuuuuhk. That was something. That Night King,he cold as ice.

  • Will run through the Targaryans for those not sure as best I can.

Aerys (the mad king) had three children.
    Rhaegar (oldest)
Viserys (the guy from the early seasons who ended up with a molten crown)
    Daenerys

Rhaegar married a Martell (the Dornish lot, the women with the poison kiss and the bloke who had his head crushed by The Mountain).
    They had two children.
The two children and the Dornish mother were all killed by Gregor Clegane during Robert Borathean's throne grab.

However prior to that Rhaegar had his Martell marriage anulled and married Ned Stark's sister, all in secret and consummated Jon Snow.

Sister Stark was due to marry Robert and the presumption was that Rhaegar had kidnapped her.
This was the straw that broke the camel's back and the rebellion happened.
    Rhaegar was killed by Robert.
Sister Stark was "rescued by Ned" as she lay dying in child birth of Jon Snow.
  • Is there a reason we are using spoiler tags?
I think it's only fair until the show has officially aired in the UK, which it has now, so I'm now removing the spoiler tags I put on B's post on the previous page.

That was my thinking. Was just concerned I had missed something so went for tags to be on the safe side.

Unfortunately I spotted Brooks' Gillen comment before it was spoilered. My own fault really for carelessly clicking on the thread before seeing the episode.

For delayed viewers who might enjoy the gist of our updates without spoiling it until they've time to watch. Also — and mainly — because it's really easy to run into spoilers when you've watched an earlier episode, come in here to see what others thought of it, and then stumble into a big spoiler from the next episode as you scroll down. I've done that.

Directly causing your own son to commit suicide and not understanding why is also a playing style you can extrapolate out into Ranavalona level shit.
