They’re clearly so aware that they alienated half of their previous base with Kinect and tv tv tv that they seem to think that now the only way to get them back is just do more of the same franchises that gained them such a footing back then. Xbox as a brand really needs to break out from it’s self imposed niche of core western male gamer. Unless you’re a fan of the brand (and there’s nothing wrong with that - we all like what we like). there just isn’t a rational reason that, as a new customer, you’d choose the Xbox1 as your only console purchase anymore. Surely they could now look across at Sony and see the goodwill (and constant sales) the PS4 has been getting for it’s slightly more esoteric slant on system exclusives and have a go at that.
