I don't think I've ever seen the whole of a Python film. Before my time at the cinema, old hat by the time VHS was a thing.Kow wrote:Hasn't everyone seen The Holy Grail like a billion times?
Isn't it the scene from TR were he ducks out the back of a pub or some place and ditches his family?I_R wrote:Google image search says the second one is Monty Python's Holy Grail. I'd guess the first one is Trainspotting from the haircut, but don't remember the scene at all.

Just back and still digesting, but right now thinking it was far better than anyone could have reasonably hoped.
The trailer had me a bit worried with all the references, but it turns out it's a film that's actually about looking back. It's about revisiting former glories and realising the realities of life often don't quite match up to what your youthful self imagined.
Intelligent, funny and perfectly judged.
I think I loved it.
