There's a tab on the menu called Prestige or Titles or something. Basically exactly like badass points from Borderlands 2. General community focus on what to spend them on is Luck > Life > Ki > Yokai Damage > Toughness > Gold Earned > Living Weapon Drain > Elemental Damage Taken.
Completed Cobweb Castle. Spiderlass is surprisingly straight forward.
Mad how you can play for 20+ hours and only find that tucked away, in my case at least. My health went up by like 200 points amongst other huge bonuses.
I've raised spirit so my super move is amazing now (using dual electro puppies) and magic to be able to summon them whenever I want with a very OP reusable...item thing. I've coupled this with sword and ki buffing stats, I also learned enough ninja jazz to carry two of the best grenades which wreck mobs when placed well. I'm a real swashbuckling trickster build, it's fun.
I get this game now. I couldn't care any less at all about the lore or characters, but now the system are starting to interlock I'm completely hooked. For how good it ends up being it has a horrible opening 2-3 hours if you're completely new to it.
Some of the grenades just don't do much damage but there's a certain type that seems to inflict fire damage on everything it touches. I set it as my reusable ninja skill. I'll check the exact name for ya
ah i've got a couple weapons that set people on fire now, as well as fire tiger mans as well so it's all bbq.
those grenades you find all over the place as well, i used them in the beginning but they didn't really seem to do much damage. maybe i should re-investigate.
hmmm, they had a slightly different name to the normal ones, but I think you're right, you can find them. Also the splash damage is real on then, tossed in to a spider nest they really do the business
I found two ways of exploiting that guy, if you're talking Warrior of the West Invitation mission. One, as you enter you can aim a headshot on him using the bow. He'll hit the deck allowing a free ground stab to kick things off. After that, you can Gwyn him to fuck. There's a rock his AI can't handle. Just Benny Hill him around it and punish his big attacks.
the electric dog dude? that duel was the toughest thing i'd done up to that point.
I ended up using the shark spirit guardian, and had 6 summon mans talismans (they do the same attack as Triangle + Circle when living weapon activated) on hand. The shark knocked the dude over at which point i'd run up and stab him on the ground. other than that learn his openings and run away when he starts running at you....
i kept trying to see if mid parries work, as they do on other bosses with swords but it didn't seem to.
the duels are pretty tough, it's weird when enemies start blocking.
also invest in sloth magic if you feel like cheating
The admin on weaponing and levelling up is getting a bit intense, as is the enemy repetition. I can see why a lot of people gave up. Still enjoying it for now but I should be getting Zelda tomorrow, the obtaining of which is another reason I'm sure people gave up.
DOA girl down in a great battle. On to the 5th region, where I can't believe the enemies are still the same. And it's jumped up 20 levels of difficulty oh good.
