If you like Pandemic it's a no brainer. Its just so clever and opening all the secret flaps and boxes is exciting. We've barely got going and loads has happened. There's a great narrative and things to get you invested in it all. Such a great experience so far.
But people buy boardgames to stack up don't they?
I'm winning at that.
Jesus I just remembered I bought that Mechs Vs Minions and it's currently being used to lift the cat bed off the floor.
Unplayed.
And no I don't know why the cat bed needs to raised off the floor.
It's so good. The penguins are a bit like weebles and you can do some pretty amazing curve shots as you get used to it. We aren't that good yet, but getting used to it. You can even flick the penguins head and get them to leap walls if you do it right.
Ice Cool looks pretty sweet. Might even be able to dust off some of the Subbuteo skills for that.
Had a great holiday last week, didn't get to play as many games as hoped but Monikers, 6 Nimmt and Dobble all went down well. Monikers in particular was great fun and I think we were the perfect amount of drunk by the time we got to the charades round. Cheers for all the recommendations.
