They aren't going to put a big HD in there, it's £450 for the console as it is, plus external storage works. Considering the fact that I already have my games on an external drive which I simply have to plug in, a cheaper price point is infinitely preferable.

If it had the games it'd be my main piece of kit. Quiet as fuck, took some getting used to the UI until I discovered pins. Games are easy to boot into and out of, store felt a mess but I'm getting used to it. I kiss my Elite pad every night.

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but that Xbox Design Lab has launched in the UK now. £70 flat rate, optional extras. No leather, Hair. Sorry.

Wouldn't mind one myself. Make a nice Rangers themed fifa pad like a right prick.

Is Flame in the Flood any good? I was curious when it was released. It's being added to the Game Pass Library along with Resident Evil 6, Dead Island Definitive Edition, Guacamelee, Monaco, Bards Gold and F1 2015. July 1st.

Yes. Lester loved it. I've played it a number of times. Hasn't completely got its hooks in, but it's very solid. Music and style lovely, gameplay good.

Blimey, just went to give The Final Station a go to see if I liked it and ended up so engrossed in it I played it through to completion in one sitting. It's not a long game by any means, about four hours or something, but it's a canny mix of resource management and 2D exploration that keeps you ticking along.

I loved the way it tells its story, don't open this until you've completed it:

The way the notes,
buildings, conversations with other drivers and backgrounds all add up to fill in the details is really well done. The stuff going on the background as you maintain the train really emphasise how the world is going to shit and your actions are basically futile. Losing a passenger still feels awful though, and it's made even worse when you realise it's because you fucked up in the last area and had to use one of the shared med kits on yourself only to run out of them between stations.

The ending (extra safety spoiler, you've been fucking warned)

was a real kick in the balls too, realising that he'd been trying to call his daughter at every opportunity and that his last journey was to head home to find her is heartbreaking.

I couldn't work out what the dude in the hat and the other survivors in the town was all about though. Or that weird bit half way through with the strange meeting you stumble upon in the middle of nowhere. I thought the disease was man made too, stuff the hat guy said and all the canisters in the tunnel seemed to point there, but then the huge guardian and the way it was gouged to fuck suggests Pacific Rim style mega aliens? I dunno,
gonna have a google now and try to piece it all together, give me a shout if you've finished it, I'd love other reading to mull over.

Nor had I, it was given away free for using Mixer to watch E3, it installed itself on my Xbone while I was away along with Rare Replay (after a few dabbles on these they're better left to your memory) so I thought I'd give it a shot while waiting for the washing. Pleasantly surprised.
