I defeated my second Divine Beast in Zeldus last night, Vah Medoh. It was a lot of fun. Now I want to go the opposite side of the map, so I am shelving it for a bit to decompress.
I opened up FFXV instead, end of Beginning of Chapter 3, in 4 hours I started Chapter 5. I had been struggling for all of that time because I had forgotten that the King's Weapons drain your health. Er, whoops. Anyway, I enjoy it and for some reason my girlfriend finds its world far more engaging than Zelda. Feels clunky as all fucking hell after Zelda though.
Resident Evil 7. Not really feeling it to be honest. I love the atmosphere and the locations but as soon as the combat ramps up I just get frustrated. Always running out of ammo and groaning in frustration at the numerous boss fights.
Yeah there's a fair amount of combat but it never really got difficult. Block reduces incoming damage quite a lot, headshots will down most things. The first 2 hours are the best part though.
Nex Machina. Whenever I get 5 or 10 minutes which is all I've been getting lately. Would love to have more time to play something so I can get back to Zelda and Nier.
Persona 4 Golden on train rides. Still. Nearing the end I think. Will dive straight into NG+ probably once I'm done.
Also catapulted into the unimaginatively named Streets of Rogue which tbf is mayhem fun. You're assigned random missions each floor sort of like Syndicate which can involve stealing, murdering and stealing, freeing crims from prison or just pushing buttons. Surrounded by neutral npcs that add a lot of random violence into the mix with them getting involved in roving punchups against you, the police, the gangs and pissed off doctors telling you to get out of the hospital because you rolled the gorilla character.
