I'm not sure as it's a new experience, but I think I might agree with the daily mail here. It is unbelievable that they can't even get this ridiculous, jingoistic bit of nonsense right. It's the one promise that should be reasonably straightforward to deliver on. Unimportant, irrelevant, completely out of proportion with the costs, but at least it was something for these people to have. A pure blue British passport that they could invest some sort of weird patriotic fetishistic pride in. And even that's been denied them.
