What a game. Just finished it, and I mean finished finished, to those who know what I mean. Don't know if I still had other endings. I played for 40 hours I think any more would have ruined it.
I did it in about 44 hours. Became one of my all time favourites. There is an ending for each letter of the alphabet. Ending is probably the wrong word. More like a way for game to end. So could be actual ending or could be how you die.
Exploring is good cos fleshes our world and some characters etc. I found that if immersed me in the world and background etc. Some are rubbish, some ok, but there also some great side missions.
Re your question, some can be missed as in disappear as story progresses so can be missed. But
Spoiler:
don’t worry about missing them too much if you’re after completion rate etc. There’s a chapter select once you’re done.
I mean this is supposed to be same series as Drakengard or same universe or something? I played the first Drakengard on PS2, I can’t remember it much (gave up cos repetitive) and don’t know how they’re linked. First game must’ve been set hundreds years earlier or summat.
So that is Route A of Nier Automata complete. Really, really good but got a bit fed up with the side quests and the endless tracking back and forth...however looking forward to diving into Route B.
Thinking I may just focus on the main quests for this run through.

That first boss fight was insane, loved it. I'm just wandering about the first area at the moment, twatting stuff. Found what I believe could be but probably isn't a secret?
Spoiler:
Going back to 2B's death and regaining everything
Gonna dive right in tomorrow. I'm finding it very easy on Normal though, hopefully it picks up the challenge.
You'll probably find it doesn't pick up the challenge on normal. If you want more then I'd bump it up to hard otherwise normal will be fun but mostly will just get you through the story
Posting in here because I know Cinty loves the game and if theres any thread he will see its this. I'll miss reading your posts. Always a delight or an insight, often both.
