Anyway, whilst I obviously can't go back 40 years to judge it as it was, my modern hot take is it's a bit naff. First half is good as it sets the scene etc., but once the alien is on board (and magically fully grown) it just seemed to go really dumb horror film, that wasn't particularly tense or scary.
Get right the fuck out of toon.

The first four movies with commentary and two versions of each picture, and two discs of documentaries and outtakes etc.

I just rented a movie on Amazon Prime Video... on the app... on my PS4.
When did this witchcraft become a thing?
It's been a while since I've rented anything, but you always had to go back to your desktop, load up the main Amazon marketplace, find the damn film there, and pay for it on that site, then go back to your PS4 where the desktop purchase would now have unlocked it, then you were finally able to watch the damn thing.
It's a miracle!
Yes do this!ShabbyMcCrabby wrote:A cinema in Melbourne is doing a similar Bong festival so I am going to make sure to go to the Mother screening. It's a double feature with The Dog that Barks or whatever it's called. I haven't seen either
