I'm not going to dip a toe into the highest stakes PvP mode anyway but you'd think they wouldn't completely undermine the exercise for those that do right out the gate.
500+ hours of pootling around and farming the odd god roll is nothing like as hardcore as I figure I'd need to be for PvP competence. I don't think I've ever even cleared a Pinnacle gear challenge. D2 is what I do while listening to podcasts and audiobooks mostly.
Yeah this was like the most obvious argument to have long before they started writing public essays about shit. What is going or not in fact going on with this studio.
Posting this in here because it was mostly Destiny peeps who knew him. It's not good news I'm afraid.
Rave died last night. He went into hospital on Monday with what turned out to be sepsis, and it spread throughout his body. My last words to him on Monday when we didn't know how bad it was were "I have to go to work now, but I hope you feel better."
I'm absolutely devastated. He's been my best friend for nearly half my life and now he's gone. I feel like part of me has gone.
Jesus Dante... I'm so sorry man. Never had the pleasure of playing with Rave what with ye being on the other side of the grass but I know from being part of an equally committed Destiny group for a time how close you can get on those nightly excursions - And obviously you knew him outside this too, such terrible news.
Christ man... that's devastating news. I got to know the guy a touch after our endless hours of buggering about in the Destiny but you must be completely shattered.
Thoughts go out to you and his other friends and family..
