I don't see MS games as things to part money with anymore - they've already got mine. It's about time now, which is arguably more valuable. So I dont care for Grounded or Battletoads, but Psychonauts 2 and Halo Infinite will get some hours from me.bad_hair_day wrote:Game pass is undoubtedly value for money if you have it, for the rest though, does what 343 have shown of the campaign make a good argument to part with £54.99?

That's the anachronism...Diluted Dante wrote:tigersgogrrr wrote:You'd be a fucking idiot to pay that and it isn't what they want or expect. It's an anachronism.
So they won't be listing the game for sale at £54.99 then?

I don't think that is a very realistic proposition. Game Pass is hardly a secret and the value proposition blows away buying pretty much any first party single player game now. I imagine they'll sell copies at that price point but it will be minimal.bad_hair_day wrote:That's the nan price of course, and what Game (and presumably MS) are charging. However if you're the other 80% of Bone owners without GP - the casual 3-5 games a year punter, yeah for a digital download £54.99 is a very real proposition.tigersgogrrr wrote:You'd be a fucking idiot to pay that and it isn't what they want or expect.
