Very proud of my upstanding young men for saying fuck this and striking.
This has been incredible.
There was a vote within the players about whether to continue the league. Lakers and Clippers said no but think rest said yes. LeBron left the meeting... So not sure where this goes.
NBA players on strike is amazing
I'm falling apart to songs about hips and hearts...
Doc rivers speech, LBJ calling trump a bum, GSW refusing to go to the whitehouse, Kenny Smith walking off mid show, Bucks starting a strike, Jaylen Brown leading marches.
Didn’t watch last nights game but thought the bucks were poor in the first game.
Spolestra has been around for what feels like an age and it’s easy to forget what a great coach he is; playoff Bud not so much.
Amazing that the east has both the reigning champs and #1 seed across the league on the ropes. Post kawhi raptors really remind me on pre kawhi raptors.
I'd like to see it, both because history and also because I like the bucks generally and basically all their players.
However, the body language has sucked and the belief hasn't seemed to be there.
The hot take has always been that bud hasn't translated to playoffs well, and it's starting to look dodgy again.
Hard to know if it was the break in season or if their defensive priniciples have issues or a bit of both.
Would like a smart Bball guy to deep dive.
(as I recall their general principle is to stop paint baskets, and they will even give up some threes to do it. They don't want corner threes, but are ok with giving up above the break threes.)
I dunno, could be some finding of "market inefficiencies" in regular season that goes away a little in play offs.
Still, hadn't realised Giannis actually took the single regular PER crown from Wilt Chamberlain. That's fucking cool. I will follow wherever he goes after next season.
ha
Been a great series, the celtics are the better team but raptors just keep hanging on. Celtics need to take a step up, some amazing young players but need more consitency - tatum has played well all series but needs to score more consistently to take it to the next level.
Still think boston will win game 7 but I can see the heat being another tough grind
