Hoping to secure a big PS5 in time for Christmas by ordering this week. The S is the only one I've held as a pre-order, they didn't seem to sell out for a while on Amazon...then I cancelled because of digital only fretting. Waiting it out is the most sensible advice all round, I usually do with new consoles (last one I had day one was a Wii iirc), but without meaning to rub it in as obviously many many people are currently struggling, the disposable income coffers are well stocked at the mo. All the bullshit has been quite kind to me in one way or another. My entire household is even getting paid handsomely per week to take part in an ongoing covid study *jammy klaxon sounds*. I think I'm back to waiting for the X again, thanks all. I'm very easily swayed, see. So next time I try to change my mind in here feel free to tell me to fuck off. Edit: Plus what kind of numpty frets about which next gen pairing to go for while knowing full well most of the games they'll end up hosting could run on a Vita.
